~~Rare Early Combination Table Riser / Dough Board With Handle~~
This piece has a handle with a large worn hanger hole. The surface..all original.
It measures 22 inches (including the handle) x 13 inches.
This piece is perfect for the center of your farm table and is large / substantial enough to hold an early dough bowl, treen platter or trencher.
Early risers are nearly impossible to find. This is only the third one I have found in nearly 25 years and the only one that is multi functional! It is a VERY desirable primitive!
As mentioned, this one is being sold out of my own collection, so it may be pulled from this listing at any time.
Circa mid 1800's. Chester County Pennsylvania origin.
