EARLY PENNSYLVANIA DOLL SKIRT/PETTICOAT & APRON

Here is an early doll skirt that has been coupled with an early patterned doll apron. The skirt buttons at the waist, while the apron was made with long ties.

The skirt could double as a petticoat as it was trimmed at the hem with early unobtrusive cotton lace. The pattern on the apron is white with a blue clover pattern on white.

The skirt/petticoat measures 10 1/2" long with a tiny 5 1/2" waist, with button closure. The lovely well made apron measures 5 1/2" long.

The style and detail is emmaculate and the condition is as well.

Early calico doll clothing is rarely found so do consider this one a good find. Both pieces are out of Berks County Pennsyvlania. ($98)
