They were an attic find, along with several others previously sold, that for some reason were kept in storage for years. They were appropriately packed, so they stayed protected from the elements.

These measure approximately 3 inches tall and make a great primitive statement when displayed on an early treen or pewter plate. If you have a pair of early iron sugar nippers, they would be perfect in the display as well!
